• Description 1963 lotus cortina mk1. For sale due to downsizing of private collection. Orignally registered as a ford lotus cortina on 26th august 1963, this car has subsequently been re-shelled with a later 2 door shell. Registered with dvla as a ford 125e cortina (125e being ford's designation for the lotus cortina mk1). It was restored in 2013 for use in continental tours at which point a pinto engine was fitted, along with safety devices roll cage. The pinto engine and gearbox have now been removed ready for fitment of the recently refreshed lotus twincam engine and gearbox (pictured) which are included in the sale.
